Care Instructions

Because every piece is made by hand from natural materials, care depends on what it is made from. Here is how to keep each one well.

Wood

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep out of direct sun and away from moisture and heat. Oil occasionally with a natural wood oil to feed the grain. Solid wood, made by hand, so expect natural variation in color, grain, and small surface marks.

Textiles and robes

Hand wash cold, hang dry in the shade. Small irregularities in the weave and dye are part of the hand process.

Natural fiber

Dust with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Keep dry and out of prolonged damp. Avoid extended direct sun, which can dry and fade the fiber. Handwoven, so please expect variation.

Clay, stone, and metal

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Not waterproof unless noted. Made by hand from natural materials, so expect variation in tone, texture, and form.
